Vanshika Sudhakar

Vanshika acts for the Crown, handling a wide range of criminal proceedings. Before joining MC, Vanshika served as a criminal defence lawyer at the Public Defence Service, appearing in the District Court and High Court. She also brings valuable experience from her work in indigenous rights law, having represented clients in district, Kaupapa and urgent Waitangi Tribunal inquiries. Her legal journey began in family law giving her a strong foundation in advocacy.

Vanshika is an active committee member of the Auckland Women Lawyers' Association, reflecting her commitment to advancing women’s roles in the legal profession.
