Marin acts for the Commissioner of Police in High Court civil proceedings under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009 and for the Crown in criminal prosecutions.
Before joining MC, Marin worked with another New Zealand law firm in litigation and dispute resolution, with the Office of the Prosecutor at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon on conspiracy, terrorism and intentional homicide cases, and with an NGO in The Hague on international law and human rights.
