About

Madeleine conducts prosecutions on behalf of professional disciplinary regulators in various tribunal proceedings, including before the New Zealand Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal, the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Board, and the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board.  She also prosecutes health and safety matters on behalf of Maritime New Zealand, and criminal matters on behalf of the Crown, in the District and High Courts.

Prior to joining MC, Madeleine worked for the Victorian Government in Australia to implement policy proposals for legislative reform to workplace health and safety laws and criminal laws. She also has experience in civil litigation, defending negligence claims and professional indemnity disputes, and has been involved in several high profile mass tort litigation cases across different Australian jurisdictions.
