Liz assists with a wide range of regulatory matters as a solicitor in one of MC's regulatory litigation teams.
Before joining MC, Liz was a Judges' Clerk at the Auckland High Court. Liz was a Winter Intern at MC in the 2020 cohort.
Liz contributed to Litia Tuiburelevu's seminal research report Pacific Peoples and the Criminal Justice System in Aotearoa New Zealand, funded by the Borrin Foundation and published in October 2023.
Liz is of Samoan descent (Lufilufi)
Recent Cases & Achievements
Liz's honours dissertation was a race-conscious critique of crimmigration laws in Australia and New Zealand. This dissertation was adapted into an article and published in Te Mata Koi: Auckland University Law Review in 2023.
