Kristy Li

About

Kristy is an experienced senior Crown prosecutor. She joined MC in 2022 having previously prosecuted under another Crown warrant. Kristy has acted on instructions from various government departments such as the Department of Corrections, Commissioner of Police and the New Zealand Customs Service.

Kristy provides mentoring and training to junior prosecutors at MC particularly in the areas of evidence and criminal procedure.

In addition to her prosecution experience, Kristy has worked as a defence lawyer at the Public Defence Service.
