Jennie provides a range of advisory and advocacy services in the area of civil litigation, including debt recovery, insolvency, shareholder disputes, and company and commercial disputes. She has acted for high-net-worth individuals, company directors, property investors, corporates, private liquidators and government departments. As counsel, Jennie has appeared in the Family Court, District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.

Prior to MC, Jennie worked at a large Auckland-based professional services firm, advising a wide range of domestic and international clients on tax advisory and compliance matters.

Jennie is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Jin v Luo [2023] NZHC 2417

Appeared as junior counsel in dispute between business partners involving ten investment properties, with claims of constructive/resulting trusts and breaches of director and fiduciary duties

Chen v Wu [2020] NZHC 3302

Appeared as junior counsel in dispute between family members claiming entitlement to letters of administration, with cross-border adoption issues
