Jared acts for the Commissioner of Police in civil proceedings in the High Court under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009 and for the Crown in criminal prosecutions. He has also completed a range of work for other government bodies such as the Overseas Investment Office, Department of Corrections and the Official Assignee.
He joined MC as an intern in September 2020.
Recent Cases & Achievements
Jared wrote his Honours dissertation on the decriminalisation of MDMA under New Zealand law and possible avenues for reform.
