Hugo Wagner-Hiliau
About
Hugo assists in a wide range of commercial and civil proceedings, acting for both government and private clients. He also acts for the Crown in criminal proceedings.
Before joining MC, Hugo was a Judges’ Clerk at the Auckland High Court for two years.
He is a former Editor-in-Chief of the Auckland University Law Review, and co-authored an article featured in the journal’s special issue in 2021.
Hugo also contributed to Litia Tuiburelevu’s seminal research report Pacific Peoples and the Criminal Justice System in Aotearoa New Zealand, funded by the Borrin Foundation and published in October 2023.
