About

Frankie advises local authority clients on both litigation and commercial matters. She also acts for the Crown in criminal proceedings. 

Before joining MC, Frankie worked at a leading law firm in the litigation and dispute resolution team. During her studies at university, Frankie volunteered at Community Law Waikato. 

Recent Cases & Achievements

For her Honours thesis, Frankie examined the disproportionate impact of the War in Afghanistan on Afghan women, including the extent to which International Humanitarian Law was adhered to during the conflict.

She also wrote a thesis on the impact of ransomware attacks on organisations, focusing on the Waikato District Health Board ransomware attack, and proposing legislative and policy measures to strengthen organisational resilience.

Frankie was the recipient of an award for academic excellence from the Vice Chancellor of the University of Waikato.
