Ben Bosomworth

About

Ben is a prosecutor in the Crown Prosecutions team who regularly appears in the District and High Court on a wide range of criminal matters, including jury trials and appeals. He has also appeared as counsel in the Court of Appeal and at Parole hearings.

Ben acts on instructions from various government agencies and regulatory bodies such as the Department of Corrections, Ministry of Primary Industries, Department of Internal Affairs and provides advice to the New Zealand Police. 

Before joining MC, Ben worked as a prosecutor for the Office of the Crown Solicitor at Northland. Before that he worked as a defence lawyer at the Public Defence Service and as a prosecutor for the Police Prosecution Service.
