Arahi (Ngāti Kuri, Te Rarawa, Te Aupōuri) assists on a broad range of criminal cases, including High Court proceedings, and regularly appears in the District Court.
Prior to joining MC, Arahi worked at a boutique commercial litigation firm. He was also an academic mentor for tauira Māori pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at Te Wānanga Aronui o Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland University of Technology's Law School.

Arahi wrote his dissertation, titled "Shame About the System: Why Justice Needs a Tikanga Tune-Up", which explores the cultural and legal significance of whakamā examining how its misinterpretation within Aotearoa New Zealand's justice system contributes to unfair out comes for Māori.
