Alani Butters

About

Alani is involved in a wide range of criminal matters and regularly appears in the District Court. Prior to joining MC, Alani worked as a law clerk at a criminal defence firm and as a legal secretary in a wills and estates firm while completing her studies. Alani has volunteered as a prison support advocate and an Editor for the New Zealand Women's Law Journal. She also introduced the first PDS duty lawyer shadowing programme in Wellington.
