Richie advises on all areas of civil litigation with a particular focus on insurance. He conducts disciplinary litigation for regulatory bodies and appears for the Crown on criminal matters.
Prior to joining Meredith Connell, Richie spent three years in the litigation team of a mid-sized Auckland law firm and clerked for a commercial silk. During that time Richie regularly advised on insurance, maritime and general civil litigation matters. He has appeared in both first instance and appellate courts and acted on LMAA arbitrations.
While at university, Richie was employed by the Parliamentary Service. Working directly for a Member of Parliament, he had input into research, policy development, and communications.
