Jayne specialises in local government, and property and construction law. She has acted for local authorities for many years, with expertise in public sector property including the Reserves Act, the Public Works Act, and property elements of local government legislation.
Jayne handles all aspects of property transactions form routine matters to complex arrangements, including acquisitions, disposals, subdivisions, easements and developments.
Recently, she has worked with Queenstown Lakes District Council and Dunedin City Council on matters ranging from services easements to major civic land disposals and strategic Public Works Act advice for infrastructure projects.

Acting for a local authority in relation to property arrangement relating to development and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure in a joint venture.
Advising the Official Assignee on the sale of property under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009 including advice in relation to custody and control and disposal.
Acting for Earth Science New Zealand in relation to its development programme in several centres including development and acquisition advice.
Acting for private developers in relation to the subdivision and sell-down of fee simple and unit titled residential developments.
