Jacob Barry
Associate
Jacob worked for two years as a judges' clerk in the Auckland High Court following his graduation in 2011. He joined Meredith Connell at the start of 2014 and acts on a variety of civil proceedings and regulatory prosecutions for the Commerce Commission, the Department of Corrections, and Maritime New Zealand. Jacob regularly appears in the District Court and High Court in Auckland, conducting pre-trial, trial and appellate work.
His articles on sports law have been published in the New Zealand Law Journal and the Australia and New Zealand Sports Law Association's Commentator. He is a trustee of the New Zealand Swimming Trust.
