Esprit is a solicitor in the International Dispute Resolution team. She specialises in civil litigation and disputes resolution with a focus on cross-border and multicultural issues.
Esprit’s main focus has been to assist bilingual clients across all practice areas to ensure their legal rights are not interfered with due to the English language or
cultural differences. In particular, she is able to assist Korean-speaking clients and has acted on various relationship property disputes and contractual disputes.
Esprit appears in the District Court, Family Court, and High Court.
TVBI Company Limited v World TV Limited  NZHC 246 (acted for the plaintiff company to obtain summary judgment for breach of contract in the sum of $1 million).
Acting for a foreign company to enforce a foreign judgment involving recovery of debt of $23 million.
Zhao v He  NZHC 550 (appeared as junior counsel for the respondent in the appeal of a judgment for division of relationship property in the Family Court).
